I can’t even tell you how fast this year has slipped past us! It seems like it just started!?! We have accomplished a lot, and I think, deserve a tiny break now, before turning another page, and starting another year.
I wanted to share a few pix of the results of the last firing with everyone! Quite a few of the new things already sold this past weekend! I think people have a nose for fresh work, they seem to sniff it out from amongst the older items:) THANK you for all who have come out to sales and who have supported us this year! I am so grateful for all the support we have gotten, from all of you – our families, friends, blogger-friends, FB friends, customers…
I am very pleased with the firing this time, despite some unwanted marriages that took place in the side-stoking area. I had plenty of color variation, glazes did what they were supposed to, and I got a few beautiful flashing surprises, which I have not photographed yet. I don’t think it’s possible to get these subtle variations on a photo anyway. I just LOOOOOOVE when I get some buttery yellow’s and bright -bright oranges on porcelain. It seems to come from reduction cooling.
Anyway. This has been one exciting year, and I am really happy, full of energy and ready to tackle the new challenges:) Can’t wait to play with our new kiln more, and see where this path leads!
Merry Christmas, Everyone! Eat well, spend time with your loved ones, and look forward with a hopeful eye!

I’m so glad the show went well. You and Adam are both such talented folks, it’s not surprising. but wonderful anyway. Wishing you a most wonderful holiday too, Anne.
